This private two room suite is on the lower level of the main lodge and has a private driveway level, three outside entrances, private picnic table and gas grill, and plenty of secure parking. It is located only nine miles from the Bristol NASCAR track and Thunder Valley Drag Strip. There are miles of private hiking trails, many nearby tourist attractions, and it is about two hours from the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.  

This secluded retreat is centered in the TRI-Cities area of Northeast Tennessee, close to Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport.  It is a convenient distance to the Gray, Tennessee fossil dig and museum, the Bristol Motor Speedway and Drag Strip,  as well as many other regional events and destinations.  It is snuggled on a ridge top over 2000 feet from the public road, and is secured by an electric gate with keypad entry and automatic exit opener. Renters are given the keypad code prior to arrival.  An automatic remote control gate opener is also available to renters (extra deposit).

A private picnic table and gas grill is located under the deck between two of the of the suite's private entrances. 

If you rent this unit during NASCAR races, a special private parking space is included, less than a mile from the Bristol Motor Speedway, with free shuttle bus to the race track. Please look for race rental information below.

               
Media Room is included with the lower level suite, and includes big screen TV w/ DSS satellite receiver (shared channel w/ bedroom) and Queen-sized hide-a-bed. Eleven foot ceilings and wildlife mounts from the collection of Bob McGuire add to the rustic flavor of this suite. The two adjoining rooms in this suite feature separate outside entrances an inside connecting hallway door.
    
               
The adjoining main bedroom is set up like a motel suite, with private outside entrance, separate thermostat and water system, two high quality California-style double beds, entertainment center, DSS Satellite TV (from receiver in Media Room), rocking chair, microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge in room, with private full bathroom.

Pricing (Other than during March and August Bristol NASCAR Races)

NOTE:

ROOM RENTALS REQUIRE A $150 SECURITY DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. All other deposits and the rental fee will be payable upon arrival. Deposits will be refunded the week following check-out, following inspection of premises.

Deposits will be refunded for cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the reservation date.

REMOTE CONTROL FOR ELECTRIC GATE (if available) REQUIRES ADDITIONAL $30 DEPOSIT (if you don't want to use the keypad entry).

ALL PETS REQUIRE ADVANCED APPROVAL AND AN ADDITIONAL $150 SECURITY DEPOSIT (due upon arrival).

There will be a separate $45 clean up fee per stay.

If you rent this Suite during races, a special private parking space is included, less than a mile from the race track, with free shuttle bus to the races.

SPECIAL FREE RACE PARKING INCLUDED:
If you rent this Gobbler Nob suite during NASCAR races, a special private parking space is included at our campground, less than a mile from the Bristol Motor Speedway, with free shuttle bus one way to the race track (walk back after the race). You would also be granted full campground privileges, including inside rest rooms, showers, and use of the community building. Following the race, we have a party for patrons of our campground and race rooms, with the race replay on a big-screen TV. Fans bring beer, swap lies, and see what they missed in real time.

NOTES for rentals during Race Weeks:

ROOM RENTALS REQUIRE A $300 SECURITY DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. All other deposits as well as the rental fee will be due 90 days prior to the race.

Deposits will be refunded for cancellations received at least 90 days prior to the reservation date. A $100 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received less than 90 days from the reservation arrival date, and the balance will be refunded subject to rental of the property for that race.
